Our online catalogues describe only a small selection of the wide range of items we can supply. These range from uniforms and custom designed corporate clothing through to promotional items such as umbrellas, banners and sales support materials.

Embroidered clothing

The cost of embroidered clothing is made up of the following elements in addition to the cost of the clothing itself.

Design origination and the digitisation of the logo or text. This is also called the set up charge
A per garment charge for the embroidery
Any carriage charge
V.A.T. - when applicable

Design origination or digitisation

All designs or logos require a specific programme to be created to run the embroidery machines. This is called a stitch file and the process is called digitization or origination.

Designs using standard text fonts will incur a small setup charge. Those with unusual font will require the creation of a special programme written in the embroidery machine code. This tells the machine how to stitch the design and also records the thread colours to be used.

For logos the cost of digitisation varies with the complexity of the design and will normally be in the region of £20 to £45. This is a one off charge. The digitised design will be kept for your use at any time in the future.

The per item charge

This is the cost of each item of embroidery or placement. Up to 6000 stitches is normally included in the cost of the garment. There will be a small additional charge for logos with over 6000 stitches.

Minimum order value. This will normally be £45.00.

Screen printing

This is a totally different process to embroidery and involves a silk screen being created for each colour of ink used. These are then kept so they can be re-used for future orders. There is a one off charge to make each screen of £25.00.

There is also a per item charge that varies according to volume. Starting at £2.50 for the first placement and reducing to less than £1.00 for the second and subsequent colours and for high volumes.

Delivery

There is a carriage charge of £6.50 for the first carton. Small items may be sent by mail - The minimum charge is £3.00.

madeira Goods are normally despatched using a national carrier on a 2/3 day service. A next day service is available at a slight additional charge. Special rates may apply for remote areas and offshore islands.

You are always welcome to pick up your finished work from our offices on the edge of the New Forest.
