FAQ’s

Do you have a printed catalogue?

As we have such a wide range of suppliers it would not be practical to have a single printed catalogue. We have detailed information on all the products we sell. Let us know those items that you are interested in and we will contact you with the information.

Some of the many clothing brands we supply include garments from:

Hanes Fruit of the loom Jerzees Activewear Regatta
Blue Max Dickies Portwest Brilliant Embroidery

Do I have to use the online enquiry form?

No we are always pleased to speak to our customers offering advice and then discussing your order over the telephone.

What is the minimum order value?

£45.00

How do you charge for the embroidery?

The cost of up to 6000 stitches in one placement is normally included in the cost of each item of clothing. There will be an additional charge for other placements. Some large designs of more than 6000 stitches will incur an additional charge. Please ask for details.

How much will it cost to have our logo digitised?

It will vary according to the size and complexity of the design, but normally in the range of £20 - £45.

If I reorder later will I have to pay for digitisation again?

No, we will keep it on file so it can be used again and again.

I need more than one logo on my clothing. How much will it cost?

It depends on its size and complexity but normally in the region of £2.50 - £4.00 although text may be less.

Can you use my existing digitised logo?

Yes if it is in an industry standard format such as a .DST or .EMB.

How should I send my artwork to you?

Preferably by email in a jpeg, pdf or Word document format. We would prefer not to have to handle Tiff formats as these can be very large.

Do you charge for sending out embroidery samples for approval?

There is no charge - they are normally scanned and sent by email or alternatively the stitched sample can be mailed to you.

Can you produce badges?

Yes - they are normally created over stiffening material and are sewn around the edge.

I need to provide uniform for my staff. So how many garments of the same type should I buy?

When buying embroidered clothing for your staff remember to buy at least three garments per person as this will allow one to be worn - one in the wash and one to be spare.

How to avoid colour variation

When you are buying several different items of clothing of the same colour, try to buy from the same manufacturer, this will ensure good colour matching.

I can see ring marks on my new garments

These are sometimes visible on newly embroidered clothing. They are caused by the hoop that holds the garments still during the embroidery process. This will disappear at the first wash.

Where should I have my logo positioned?

The most popular placing is the left hand breast area of the garment. There are an infinite variety of alternatives such as the back of the garment - popular for web addresses and sleeves for smaller logos and sponsorship logos.

I only have a rough sketch of my idea for a logo - will this do?

Yes - send us as much information as you can and we will finish the design for you. There may be a change for this - please contact us.

How are the finished garments despatched?

By national carrier at a cost of £7.50 for the first carton. Small items can be sent at less cost by mail.

Will my details be automatically added to a mailing list?

No. We do contact customers occasionally with special offers and news but you must first subscribe to our mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time.
